Live for fame is a social network for people to show the world what makes one uniquely famous. It gives one the opportunity to receive constructive criticism and help push one to the next level, or just a simple "star" to know your work is appreciated.
Live for Fame is 100% free! It won't cost you a single penny to become famous.
To create your Live for Fame account simply visit http://www.liveforfame.com/signup. You'll be asked to create a login name, a password, and you will need to enter a valid email address. Don't worry, you're information will not be given to any 3rd parties.
You can become famous by uploading photos and audio tracks. Other Live for Fame users will star your uploaded media. You will automatically receive 1 star for every piece of media you upload. The more stars you receive the more famous you become so make sure to add quality media and make lots of friends!
Tags are keywords that help other users find your content. Tagging your photos and tracks greatly increase your chance of climbing up the ladder to fame.
After adding your photo or track click the Add Details button. You will now be presented with an area to enter in a Title, Description, and Tags. Input keywords (separated by commas) in the Tags area that describes the media you're uploading.
To remove tags from photos click the My Photos link your Backstage. Select the photo you wish to modify, once you're at the photo's page; click the (x) that appears next to the tag you wish to remove.
Stars are representations of your peer’s admiration of your work! If someone likes a photo or song you've uploaded then they will "Star it" meaning that they like what you're doing. The more stars you get - the more famous you become. You will also automatically receive 1 star for every photo or track you upload.
You can star a friend's photo by clicking on the thumbnail to enlarge the image. Then click on the star icon [img of star icon] and you're done. You should feel good about yourself; you just helped your friend become more famous. To star your friend's track: visit their music page and click on the star icon [img of star icon] that appears next to the music player.
Access your Backstage, click on the Customize button, and then the Picture tab. Click on the Browse button and find the picture you wish to display to the world on your computer and click the Upload button. We suggest using a picture of yourself so that your friends can put a face to the name.
Click on the Add Photo link at the top of the page if you're browsing or click the Add Photo button if you're in your Backstage. Once you have reached the Add Photo page; click the Browse button and find the photo you wish to display on your profile from your computer. After you found the image you were looking for click the Add Details button to let other users know a bit about it (this will help other users find your photo and increase your chances of becoming more famous) and then press the Upload Now button. Done!
Click the Add Audio link if you're browsing or if you're Backstage click on the Add Audio button. Once you have reached the Add Audio page; click Browse to find the mp3 you wish to add. After that add a Title to the mp3 and tag it to help others find your sonic-art.
In your Backstage click on the Customize button. You can then choose to customize your information, profile picture, or account settings.
You need to find your self Backstage and click on account that is located towards the top on the dash bar. That will allow you to change up your email.
In your Backstage, click on the Account button. Once on the Edit Settings page you will find the password fields.
In your Backstage link, click on the Account button and then click the Delete Account? button. WARNING: this will delete everything associated with your account.
